The first edition was a hard task as we were inexperienced. But fortunately everything came to a happy end. The second became even harder because now we were forced to prove that the first success didn’t just happen by chance! On our third attempt-and in a masochistic manner- we decided to make life harder to ourselves by choosing a challenging theme: Solo Woodwinds Improvisations!

A simple research shows that so far there was no such Festival anywhere on our solar system. It is a strange but also pleasing feeling to see that THIS is happening for the first time ever on SoHFest!

We are deeply grateful for all your support in the past 3 years leading us to reach this point. Relying on this very treasure we have already started planning for the 4th edition of ”Show of Hands”! Like the years before, we will unfold the next edition’s theme on the final day.

Show of Hands is simply a homage to one of the most joyous phenomenons in music: Improvisation. I hope you will enjoy either.
