Selen Gülün is a Turkish jazz musician, pianist, vocalist, composer, and academic whose work spans contemporary jazz, composed music, and cross-disciplinary performance. Her compositions have been performed internationally by ensembles such as the Dartford Symphony Orchestra and the Vellinger String Quartet (UK), Ensemble TRIS (Austria), sa.ne.na Percussion Ensemble, and the Istanbul Modern Music Ensemble. With eight albums in her discography, Gülün has lived and worked extensively in the United States and Japan, performing her music in a wide range of formats and contexts.
